Min. Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years of related work experience with any bank/financial institution regulated by the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP).

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure accuracy of closing and adjusting entries in Oracle Financial.
- Maintain records as per regulatory and bank’s requirements.
- Handle accounting, taxation, reconciliations, and daily financial operations.
- Demonstrate expertise in Insurance Accounting, International Accounting Standards (IAS), and IFRS.
- Update and implement the Accounting and Expenditure Policy of the bank.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and manage the chart of accounts and vouchers.
- Lead payment processes ensuring operational efficiency and cost controls.
- Prepare statutory reports for the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) and ensure timely submission.
- Coordinate with internal, external, and SBP auditors to resolve discrepancies.
- Assist Group Head – Finance with financial tasks, including publishing financial statements.
Core Competence:
- Strong understanding of accounting standards, reporting frameworks, and tax laws.
- Expertise in Islamic Finance/Insurance accounting (AAOIFI standards).
- Familiarity with Banking Company Ordinance & SBP Prudential Regulations.
- Proven skills in developing accounting manuals and financial controls.
- Proficient in ERP systems and automation processes.
- Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other office tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance or a related field from an HEC-recognized university.
- Professional certifications (C.A., A.C.C.A., etc.) are an added advantage.
